The 2024 bathing season at Seebad Walchwil begins on 1 May. The municipality is delighted to relaunch the associated bistro with Jonny Azizi, a proven catering professional.
Seebad Walchwil is a small holiday oasis on Lake Zug, where all guests should feel welcome and comfortable. Among other things, the bathing area has a sunbathing lawn and a paddling pool for children, while there is a diving platform and a raft for experienced swimmers.
Tenant Jonny Azizi will offer various meals and snacks in the bistro alongside drinks and ice cream for bathers. Plans include crispy pinsas, burgers (with and without meat), salad bowls with fish crispies and the like. The restaurateur already runs various establishments in the region, including the Plaza in Zug. Managing Director Vjosa Turjan will be the boss at Badi Walchwil: "I want to create a place that promotes community and brings people together across generations. Attentive service is important to me".
The bistro will start the 2024 summer season under new management – everything else will remain as it is: local councillor Willy Portmann is delighted that the popular lifeguard Robert Gehrig will continue to keep a watchful eye on bathers of all ages.
