Women's community Walchwil: A proud 137 events organised

The Walchwil Women's Community held its annual general meeting on Tuesday, 5 March 2024, at Restaurant Aesch in Walchwil.

After the memorial service in the Mütschi retirement home chapel, the community met in the Aesch. Despite the rainy weather, over 90 people accepted the Board's invitation and were warmly welcomed by Co-Presidents Bettina Ihle and Nicole Rust. Before the AGM, those present were served a delicious meal. Thus fortified, the General Meeting began at 9.00 pm. In the 60 minutes that followed, last year's minutes, the reports of the various departments and the budget were approved by the voters present. The women's community organised an impressive 137 events. Unfortunately, Myriam Hürlimann has announced her resignation. She will be replaced by Yvonne Wicki. The Co-Presidents and the entire Board were re-elected by the voters for a further year.
