The Walchwil village theatre is an important cultural aspect of village life.

On Saturday, 29 March 2025, the successful premiere of the play ‘Unheimlichi Missverständnis’ took place in the Walchwil community hall. The theatre group called for the performance and the people of Walchwil filled the hall to enjoy the entertaining play. The amateur actors - under the direction of Othmar Müller - delighted the audience and provided plenty of laughs. Of course, there was also dancing at the end. And those who were still thirsty enjoyed a nightcap (or even two or three?) at the bar or in the hall. kh.
