Walchwil lido with new leaseholder

The pretty bathing place in Walchwil will have a new tenant for the coming 2023 bathing season. The municipality of Walchwil is taking the change of tenant as an opportunity to expand the existing bistro and provide more guest comfort with new furniture.

The swimming pool in Walchwil is small and fine. From 1 May 2023, Mélanie Ryser and Alexander Breuer will look after the physical well-being of the guests and ensure a pleasant stay with fresh ideas and sympathy. Municipal President Stefan Hermann: "With Mélanie Ryser and Alexander Breuer, we have found two committed, innovative and chef-loving tenants who have great plans." Both look back on a career of several years in the private sector. For them, the time was right to venture into something new. "Ideal for us," says Hermann.

Until the opening, the municipality will replace the existing furniture of the Badi and modernise the kitchen infrastructure so that a broader culinary palette can be covered. There will also be a small lounge where you can enjoy the beautiful Walchwil sunsets with a drink. Where it is most beautiful: in the little trouvaille on Lake Zug – the lakeside resort of Walchwil.
