From 20 February to 24 March 2025, the new building regulations and the new zoning plan as well as other supplementary documents will be open to the public.

This means that a process lasting several years, in which the population has been actively involved, is entering a decisive phase. In order to inform the population in advance about the planned changes, the municipal council has invited all Walchwil residents to an information event in the municipal hall on 18 February 2025.

The documents will be available to the public for 30 days from 20 February 2025. Those affected have until 24 March 2025 to submit written, substantiated objections.

All objections received will be carefully examined. Together with the reservations from the cantonal preliminary review, they will be used to prepare the final draft, which the voters of Walchwil will decide on at the ballot box.
