On Thursday evening (2 April 2026) 24 members of the Walchwil International Men’s Club enjoyed a successful evening at the Büel shooting range, where they were warmly welcomed by Bruno Imfeld, Roger Arnold and Franco Capaul.

The event offered a wonderful opportunity to experience a Swiss tradition. What is second nature to the people of Walchwil gave a vivid impression of the discipline, skill and sense of community within Swiss shooting culture.

Under the guidance of our hosts, the participants were able to try their hand at air rifle shooting – in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The focus was above all on sharing experiences and enjoying this local tradition together.

The Men’s Club extends its warmest thanks for the hospitality and looks forward to continuing to build bridges within the village and actively engaging with Walchwil’s traditions. Stephen George
