On Tuesday evening, 30 cyclists met for the annual presentation of the Köbi challenge cup.

Dear BCW family, there are people who are simply always there. Not loud, not pushy – but as reliable as Swiss clockwork. If someone has to spontaneously take over a tour – they are there. If feedback is needed for the anniversary celebration – he already has a list ready. He is the one who knows the way on snowshoe tours, reconnoitres and leads the Rigi tour and always has a smile on his face. His humour is infectious, his knowledge of the local history is impressive and his positive charisma motivates us all. He is a real team player who even makes his own bike available if someone runs out of steam.

In short, he is a role model for us all. That is why we are awarding the Köbi Challenge Cup 2024 to our esteemed colleague Hans ‘Hausi’ Rust! Anders Borgen
