Around fifty women of different generations from Walchwil gathered for a mountain church service at the farm on Hasengutnacht – and quite a few men too!

For their reflection, the liturgy group of the women's community chose the symbol of the tree, which also appears frequently in the Bible. The personal voices from the group came across impressively. Wendel Hürlimann spread folk sounds, and Daniela Hürlimann accompanied the songs with ease on her flute. The view of the wide countryside created a special atmosphere as darkness fell. The convivial and lively atmosphere continued for a while longer with cake and drinks. At the end, everyone was able to take home a souvenir related to the theme: will it turn into fruit trees with surprises? Thanks are due to the hosts Fränzi and Björn Hürlimann-Betschart, the musicians mentioned above and the organising committee.
