The bathing season in Walchwil officially begins on 1 May. The Saturday before, on 27 April, the municipality invited the local population to an aperitif at the lakeside resort.

The small bistro will be run by a new but familiar tenant this season. Jonny Azizi already runs various establishments in the region, including the Plaza in Zug. Managing Director Vjosa Turjan will be the boss at Badi Walchwil.

After the introduction of the new tenants and their staff, those present enjoyed a delicious aperitif in the pretty lakeside pool with its breathtaking view of the snow-covered Rigi.

In terms of the temperatures, the focus in the first few days will certainly be on the Badi-Beiz and probably not yet on swimming.
