A beautiful summer evening and a marvellous backdrop in the Rägeten awaited the 23 men's team members at this year's stroll.

A quick tidy up of the barn, a few table sets set up, and the traditional party could begin... The 10 kilos of roast pork neck are once again expertly cooked on the barbecue by our club butcher Wisel Rust. The risotto is no less lovingly and freshly prepared by Roland Imhof, our men's team aspirant. Our three members with a nine at the top of their year, Paul Ehrler, Fritz Zeindler and Kari Müller, were specially honoured during the party.

Patrick Möckli, who is celebrating his 60th birthday this year, sponsored the entire meal and a few bottles of champagne. So we really popped the corks, and we thank the noble donor!

The summer holidays have now begun and the men's gymnastics team has been suspended for four weeks. However, this means that we will be keeping fit with regular hiking and tennis on the Lienisberg. True to the motto ‘Join in and stay fit!’ Guido Pirovino
