Learning German in the community

From spring 2023, the local authority will be running language courses in the municipality in cooperation with the Fachstelle Migration. With topics on everyday life in the family, in the social environment and at work, you will learn to understand, speak, read and write.

The courses are not suitable for people who cannot read and write in their mother tongue.

At the beginning, courses are offered at level A1.1. These are aimed at people who have little or no previous knowledge of German. In the future, it is planned to offer courses at other levels as well.

Costs CHF 240.- (excl. course book)
Course starts every six months
Course duration 16 course evenings á 90 minutes (interruption of holidays and public holidays)
