Will a new gourmet temple emerge on the Walchwilerberg after the closure of the Engel restaurant?

Hikers, bikers and families were delighted that the popular Paffenboden mountain restaurant on the Walchwilerberg was reopening after a renovation break. But the day trippers rejoiced too soon! At lunchtime, the place is yawningly empty. Oh yes, the mountain hut only opens at 4.00 pm and closes at 10.00 pm. And that's only from Friday to Tuesday. And the prices are at a very high level, which suggests that a high-class restaurant is being built on the Walchwilerberg. Restaurant Pfaffenboden

Don't you expect good, simple food at reasonable prices from a mountain restaurant? Obviously they no longer want to welcome ordinary people as guests at Paffenboden.

What did the landlord –  the Walchwil Corporation – think of letting the restaurant to such a tenant?
