Narrow defeat despite a strong second half

Championship 4th league

FC Walchwil loses 1-2 (0-2) in the last game of the autumn season against second-placed SK Root I despite a strong second half.

Although FC Walchwil were 2-0 down at half-time, they put in a strong performance in the second half, which was crowned by Neil Hager ‘s equaliser. Despite numerous chances to equalise, FC Walchwil were unable to pull luck on their side and missed out on a deserved equaliser. The defeat against SK Root I was therefore a bitter disappointment despite the improvement in the second half. Despite the large number of injured players, FC Walchwil spent the winter in a good seventh place in the table with 11 points,
