About the artist Katsura Suzuki

Katsura Suzuki was born on 27 January 1962 in Tokyo, where she was brought up in the traditional Japanese way. At the age of 22, she travelled via the United States to Switzerland, which she has called home since 1987.

Katsura Suzuki has a doctorate in business administration and worked for many years in the financial sector, including 20 years at Ernst & Young in Zurich and, since 1997, with her own company.

As a balance to her work in the financial sector, Katsura has always worked as an artist. In addition to the paintings exhibited here, she is the author of two books, a children's book and a biographical life guide.

Katsura Suzuki has lived in Walchwil since 2021.
