On Saturday, 22 February 2025, the fifth season was launched with an atmospheric square concert on the Oeltrotten schoolyard.

The Walchwil Guggenmusig Cheschtänärigler opened the square concert at 7.30 pm sharp. The various bands created a rousing atmosphere that delighted the numerous spectators. After the square concert, the party continued in the old gymnasium, where the die-hard carnival revellers partied until late into the night.
