A touch of the Caribbean in the village

Following the atmospheric accordion evening and the traditional costume dance on Wednesday, a touch of Caribbean flair took over the village square on Friday evening (26 June 2026).

The Cuban group Noche Latina, featuring Encantigo, set off a musical fireworks display with fiery rhythms, rousing melodies and an exuberant zest for life, captivating the audience from the very first note.

With every beat, the village square seemed to drift a little closer to the Caribbean. In the mind’s eye, palm trees swayed in the warm breeze, the turquoise sea glistened in the evening sun, and Cuba’s carefree spirit was almost tangible. For a few hours, everyday life was forgotten, whilst a hint of holidays, wanderlust and boundless joie de vivre wafted through the balmy summer night. Where people had just been dancing and laughing, hearts beat to the rhythm of the music – passionately, carefree and full of South American temperament. kh.
