According to the initial investigations at the scene, the fire was started wilfully. Based on this, a manhunt for the perpetrators was immediately launched with all available emergency services. This led to the arrest of a 30-year-old Swiss woman shortly after 05:00. She is suspected of having deliberately set the fire.
The possible motive for the offence and the exact course of events are now being investigated under the direction of the public prosecutor's office of the Canton of Zug. The suspect is in custody.
